This is a fun, simple wood working project of building backyard dice. These dice can be used to play yahtzee or any other dice game outside. The main dice are built from a 4 by 4 post and jig.

Nice video. I have been making a DIY game video each day to pass time in lockdown. I will add this to my list. Subscribed.

Nice fun build, but next time i would forget about using the masking tape bit, and just spray the holes or use a paint brush, whatever way you use, the sander will take off any paint that is outside the holes like you showed.

Is there any rules which number is next what on the dice? I'm also one of those people that it would eat at me if they were all not exactly the same. I would do each number on each die and then go on to the next. See the number 6. 😉

Great idea, now get a 5 gallon bucket and play Yahtzee on the patio . make the Grand-kids pick up the dice after you roll.
